When Mary saw that the wine had run out, she requested that Jesus help out. Despite Jesus’ reply that “My hour has not yet come”, Mary told the servants to “Do whatever He tells you”.
This demonstrates Mary’s faith in Jesus in two ways:
- She had faith that Jesus could help provide more wine
- She had faith that Jesus would help even if He wasn’t ready to reveal Himself publicly
