I continued to study, moving from James to Galatians and The Gospel John. In both of these I saw belief being the key to unlocking salvation, forgiveness, and eternal life. And it appeared that Jesus was offering eternal life to all who belief. This was the first chink in the 5-points of Calvinism. Was Jesus’ sacrifice for everyone or was it limited. As I studied more it became clear that Jesus was at the very least offering salvation to everyone. He died for the whole world; he died for everyone. This was my next change of mind limited atonement was wrong Jesus died for everyone.
